Happy Birthday baby boy!! One year ago today Ethan joined our family. I love the first year...so many firsts. But this first year was bittersweet.....my last year of firsts!! Ethan is our little caboose. He is a firecracker...literally!! And we love every last ounce of him.
Ethan you snuggle and love and give kisses!! You love to yell for ADS!! (Abby). You absolutely love to play chase!!! You get all excited and jumpy when someone jumps out and scares you. You just started to walk EVERYWHERE you go about a week ago and it is so cute!!!! You love to be read to, especially your Peek-A-Boo baby faces book. You and Nathan and Gavin love to wrestle already!! You love to push Gavin around on the train or plane. You love your family and we love you back more than you'll ever know. You love outside regardless of wind or rain, cold or hot! You cry when someone goes outside without you.
So here's to a year of firsts!!

I'm so sad to have missed the fun. Seeing the pictures reminded me how much I miss all of you---especially the kids. That cake is a real work of art. Can't wait until you get down here and see the kids in the ocean. Love to ya all. nona
