Ralph Waldo Emerson said, "Life is a journey and not a destination." This is our journey: family of 6 facing the unexpected, beautiful, exhilarating journey of living!
Pumpkin Carving Crew Aphrodite, Goddess of love! Appropriate! Captain Wardell, F-16 Pilot. The rowdy bunch! Zebra stripes....Black and White and ready for fun. Yo Ho Ho....I'm a pirate!! Watch out or this pirate will pillage and loot!! Ohhh!!!...not too many more years of photos like these! Happy haunting until next year!

A Little Bit of Sunshine. Abby without a book is like a fish out of water! She plays the piano and loves singing. Another heart surgery is in the near future. Abby is my hero for her strength and poise in dealing with her particular set of trials and blessings. We love our little angel! To read more about Abby's journey with Tetralogy of Fallot, a Congenital Heart Defect and her two open heart surgeries, click on her picture.
Nathan Callis
His baby browns will melt you!! Nathan loves his daddy and his family. The term "good boy" fits Nathan to a T. He is sweet and kind, generous and loving, fun and cautious. Nathan makes all of us a little happier!!
Gavin Thomas
Watch out world for this go getter!! 4-years-old and growing more every day. Common phrases we hear from Gavin are "I'm Sorry!" (while shouting it) or "It was an accident!). His impish grin and innate desire to have a good time is infectious. His laugh and grin are as well. Oh I love this little mischief maker!!
Ethan Robert
Two years: half terrific half terrible! This baby boy has turned from a sweet spirit to a go go getter!! He climbs on everything....including the ktichen table and chairs. He screams at the top of the lungs when he doesn't get his way. He is so busy trying to catch up to his bigger siblings that he is full of energy. His laugh is one of the most wonderful sounds in the world and he happens to be a big Momma's boy...at least one of them was!!

A Classic I hated in high school but now...a little maturity and a little less prejudice myself, and I loved it!
