Yes, we at the
Wardell household have our own in house hero! Around this time of year we honor those men and women of the armed forces. The meaning is a little different to me now that my husband is one of those soldiers. We are luckier than many military families. His deployments have been limited. The longest deployment so far has been 5 months and he hasn't had to go to any hot zones. What he has done has graduated with honors from basic training, earned 2 marksman ribbons for excellent shooting, and this last honor:

The Air Force Achievement Medal. This was awarded to Justin for providing "significant Chemical, Biological,
Radiological, Nuclear and High Yield Explosive defense training to base personnel,
facilitating mission
preparedness for Air
Expeditionary Force deployments."
Congratulations Staff
Sergeant Wardell!! We are proud of you!

I am lucky to have a daddy who not only gives these kids the love and attention they need, supplies for them, but also teaches them through example the values of integrity, honesty, hard work, industry, and virtue. Thanks for being our hero!
