Our Stake President has asked that all member if his stake study the "Preach My Gospel" manual in their homes. We have been so thankful for this the last few weeks. We incorporate this study into our scripture reading. For those of you who have ever tried scripture reading and study with a 6-month-old and a 2-year-old in the same room you know it is a challenge. Scripture study lasts maybe 6-12 verses, depending on how cooperative the babies are feeling. However, since using the "Preach My Gospel" manual we are able to talk about lots of different gospel topics and with a little application to family life instead of missionary life, I really feel my kids are coming to know and understand the gospel and Christ better. We study it together around the breakfast table and I love starting our day centered on the gospel!!!Monday, April 20, 2009

Hey Nik -- I think it is really cool that you guys are making that effort. Hang in there. Eventually it gets better, and it pays off.
