This year my little sunshine turns 9!! She has always wanted a surprise birthday party so I decided this was her year for surprises! I mailed out the invitations to all the girls in her class at school and a few ward friends. I wasn't sure if it would stay a surprise but hoped for the best. Happily it did! The picture is really blurry but this is her face as everyone jumped out and yelled surprise! This was immediately followed by jumping up and down and big hugs for mom and dad!!!!
Her party theme was American Idol so we decorated with blue and silver stars, disco balls and musical notes. Here is the crew that came. We had so much fun playing Karaoke revolution, High School Musical DVD game, opening presents, eating cupcakes, and making bead bracelets!!! Thanks to my mom for all her help with the party and to my brother James and his wife, Kris for taking Gavin for the day!!!! This party was so fun and the surprise actually worked!!!! Yeah!!!
